Tax Calculator 365

Learn

Everything in one place: how the calculators work, the key assumptions, and how to get support.

How it works

Tax Calculator 365 is designed for quick scenario checks. Enter your gross pay and any relevant optional items (pension, dividends, student loan) and the calculator will show your take-home pay and a breakdown of deductions.

  • Pick your region (England/Wales/NI or Scotland) and tax year.
  • Enter gross pay (and optional fields if they apply).
  • Review take-home pay and the deduction breakdown; adjust inputs to see cause and effect.

Methodology

Calculations use deterministic rules (tax bands, personal allowance logic, and National Insurance thresholds) for the selected tax year. Results are estimates and may not match complex circumstances.

  • Estimates are based on standard UK rules for the selected region and tax year.
  • Excludes many edge cases (e.g. non-standard tax codes, multiple jobs, benefits in kind).
  • Use results as guidance; verify critical decisions with official sources.
